For you on today is a stunning late 19th Century bronze bust of Diana the Huntress on a carved Siena marble pedestal base.
This French sculpture by Alexandre Falguière (1831-1900) for the founder Thiebaut Freres in Paris and stamped on back.
Alexandre Falguière won the Prix de Rome in 1859 and was awarded the medal of honor with his bronze sculpture of Tarcisius.
