    A large and impressive, horn and silver plate ink stand partners desk centrepiece, circa 1910.
    It comprises two superb mythical sea creatures in horn and silver-plate and two hinged lid inkwells.
    There is also a bell, which could have been used to summon the apprentices!
    The mounts are silver plate & the base is English oak.
