Description
This unique and elegant Art Deco Fire Tool Set in nickel with fluted Detailing and Black Enamel originates from the United States during the 20th Century. Features a black enamel rectangular base, leading up to a motif of cylindrical detailing providing rhythm and vertical movement to the set. Capped with an oval shaped nickel fitting from which the central supporting rod rises, topped with a curved rectangular element with slatted openings to hold each fire tool, a brush and a poker. The top of the tools have a rounded sculptural handle, matching the finish of the base and unifying the materiality and dynamic forms throughout. An excellent example of the minimal forms and balanced geometry of the Art Deco movement, this fire tool set will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors.
