This beautiful and ornately detailed Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Overlay Glass Vase originates from the United States, Circa 1920. Features a lovely serpentine organic overlapped pattern of winding branches and leaf form serifed curvatures, the silver is formed with remarkable unity and attention to detail, with a brilliant polish giving life and energy to the entire surface of the piece. Tapers inwards at the bottom and beneath the mouth of the vase, with a lovely silhouette and excellent proportions and balance. Has a central plaque following the geometric detailing, allowing for a monogram or engraving. A striking and materially exquisite example of Art Nouveau design, this vase will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Nouveau to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors.
