1980s Italian pair of sculpture vases, highly decorative objects in black and gold Murano glass with Art Deco design by Cenedese, signed pieces. Exquisite craftsmanship that shows the Maestria of the artist in handling the weight of these blown pieces and for the decor with escutcheons: the flared bodies in black Murano glass are worked in overlaid with expanded pure gold that makes them glow, the sides are decorated in relief with hand applied black glass lion heads, the emblem of Venice, each individually crafted. The excellence of the glass is such that the black interior has an enamel appearance and looks like filled with water.
