This Folk Art jester mask is a real Venetian creation, entirely hand-drawn and handcrafted in 2000. Italian Artists have realized this piece in full respect of craftsmanship traditions and following original designs developed in Venice for “Commedia dell'Arte” during the late 17th century. The coated papier mache face is half painted in green and the other half in gold, hand decorated with scrolls motifs, made precious with a jewel-like metal pin. The trimmed hat and collar ornaments are in monochrome and gold embroidered felt, ending with small metal jingle bells. Fitted with satin ribbons. A perfect romantic disguise for Halloween or Carnival.
