Pair of George V sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Crichton Brothers in London in 1926-28. Each: Tapering columnar shaft on stepped foot; urn socket has domed cover with vasiform finial, and is mounted with three wraparound arms, each terminating in single socket with detachable bobeche and wax pan. Faceted. Modern Classicism that also works on traditional tables.
Fully marked including date letters for 1926 (both bases) and 1928 (one set of arms). Very good condition.
