Cubic Biedermeier Box, Walnut with Inlays, Austria circa 1830

Description
Cube-shaped, elaborately crafted Biedermeier casket. Walnut veneered.
Inlay work with branch slices and mahogany veneer. Several band inlays in maple and ebony.
Top center with inlaid butterfly in maple with fire burnt decor. Interior covered with red velvet fabric with cushion.
Key crest in mother of pearl diamond shape. 4 attached feet standing outward.
Restored and hand polished with shellac. Brass hinges and working old lock.
