Condition: Very good vintage condition.
Incredible monumental abstract marble sculpture by renowned stone carver Francis Acitelli. This sculpture is comprised of horizontal stacked layers of gray marble. The artist then hand-carved the solid form into a beautiful sweeping abstract Minimalist work of art. Freestanding and well balanced due to the folded design. No vertical seams are used in the construction. Polished surface. The marble is approximately 1" thick at the top and 3" thick at the base. Massive scale at 53" tall. Signed and dated 1982 by the artist on the inside bottom edge. -
