Here we have a very rare and unusual French 19th Century jewelry box where you can show off your treasured pieces.
What makes this French piece extraordinary is that its in the shape of a french cabinet/vitrine. This jewelry box has beveled glass in the door, it's lined with French silk brocade on the back wall with hooks and 2 shelves. The right door only opens for easy access, the detailing on the door, feet sides and the pediment crown is stunning.
Beautiful scrolls, garlands of leaves, fans and acanthus leaves on the legs.
