Description
This special Italian coat rack dates from the 1960s and is an absolute eye-catcher due to its highly artistic style. The three rectangular feet are inlaid with wood stand-on brass adjustable feet that can be raised or lowered a few centimeters. In the middle, a black metal cylinder rises with a decoration in the form of three stems on the top with rubber caps on the ends. A total of five decorative pendants are attached to the vertical teak panels. These Fontana Arte style pendants have two hooks, the top of which is shaped like a crescent moon and painted gold. On one of the panels is a completely original mirror with a trapezoidal shape at the top. This coat rack is easy to disassemble and its condition is completely consistent with use and age. Small scratches diffuse over the metal frame and here and there a chip in the wood is part of this. It most certainly contributes to the distinct character of this item.
