Sumptuous Gorham Edwardian Classical Sterling Silver 27-Inch Vase

Edwardian Classical sterling silver vase. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1900. Curved and tapering body with flared; domed foot. Mouth rim and base knop reeded. Chased ornament with leafing scrollwork, paterae, garlands, leaves, and pendant flowers in curvilinear frames. Leaf-and dart border on body base and same on foot rim. Silverplated frog with bud finial. Showstopping turn-of-the-century sumptuousness. Frog marked “Electro Plate A10863”. Vase marked “Sterling / A10863” with maker’s stamp. Very good condition.
