    On offer for your consideration we have an exciting Italian sculpture mask if a man face by Neapolitan sculptor Guido Cacciapuoti (1892-1953).

    The style of this work is from the Italian Modernist Rational period, when many young artist's was looking back in time to around ancient Rome and Greece for inspiration.

    Here you have a very expressive face, similar to the masks of comedy and tragedy representing two of the nine Greek Muses.

    This is one of Guido Cacciapuoti most important sculptures of the early 1930's.
