German Neoclassical 800 silver box, ca 1910. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover hinged; on top, matrons and maidens in draped gowns accessorized with jugs and bowls. On sides rondels mounted to strapwork cartouches surrounded by garlands and leafing and flowering branches.

Marks include Hanau maker’s stamp (Johann S. Kurz). Very good condition.

Dimensions: H 2 x W 4 7/8 x D 3 1/2 in. Weight: 9 troy ounces. #CB955
