Parrot by Ivo De Santis for Gli Etruschi Pottery

$ 775
  • Description
    A fantastic example of the quirky modern style of artist and sculptor Ivo De Santis. Born in Florence in 1934, De Santis established his pottery studio Gli Etrushi in Florence in the mid to late 1950's. Raymor and Rosenthal -Netter distributed his work in the US in the 60s and it is highly collectable today.
    This piece is in very good condition and features glass glaze coupled with un-glazed and matte glazed areas which were signature of his style. It also features a wonderful stylized wire frame leg base adding to the fun cartoon like character of this piece.
