French Art Nouveau Patinated Bronze Figural Jug with a handle form of a nude Art Nouveau maiden with her hands in the submissive position. Cast by Jean Garnier, circa 1900 Inscribed “J. Garnier”, Height 7 inches Width:6 Inches C Estate of Steven and Anne Ausnit Condition: Very good with rubbing to gilt patina and normal wear. Jean Garnier FRENCH, 1853-1910 Jean Garnier was born in Mouzeuil, France, in 1853. He was a 19th-century French sculptor best known for his bronze figures and decorative vessels. Garnier exhibited at the Salon des Artiste Français, winning an honorable mention in 1892. Garnier died in 1910 in Paris, France.
