Miniature Tether Land Speed Record Car with a Gas Powered Engine
-
Description
A large miniature model of a Bluebird Land Speed Record Car made from painted aluminum powered by a gas powered engine. The design of the car is loosely based on the very famous Napier Railton Bluebird car driven by Malcolm Campbell in the 1930's. It is one of two built after the passing of Jake LaMotta, (no relation to the boxer) the original builder, by his son. using original castings & parts of two cars not completed by Jake. This miniature can be raced at high speeds, but should only be operated by an experienced person in a controlled environment. We like these cars as display objects for a Den or Office.
