Of monumental size and superb quality casting, this academic-erotic bronze is one of a kind. We have not seen another one in all our years. We have sold many sculptures of single male nude figures. Having a monumental sculpture like the one presented here, with two male nude figures, is quite rare and spectacular.

To some this sculpture represents a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, masterfully executed with careful attention to detail and complete understanding of the human figure. To others the statue is about a perfect harmony of love, athleticism, and grandeur.

Non-German sculptors such as Auguste Rodin and Canova were naturalistic influences for the artist sculpting this sculpture.

A unique and one of a kind sculpture.
