1960s Italian mid-century modern sculptural Murano glass fish of exquisite craftmanship, attributed to Archimede Seguso. It is realized using the Sommerso technique, a crystal clear layer of glass, blown over the amber stone color glass core, decorated with pink, ivory, reddish-brown, turquoise aquamarine festooned murrine, infused with silver flakes throughout. The silver and the curved decor that looks like scales bring the fish alive, inspiring the glistening reflections of water. Handcrafted with a reeded tail.
Spectacular colorful Work of Art in solid Murano glass, each fish individually blown and hand crafted with extraordinary details, worked with iridescence, silver leaf, 24-karat gold leaf and extraordinary color inclusions and murrine.
