A very elegant Northern Qi dynasty standing Buddha on detachable lotus pedestal, in delicately shaped, engraved and drilled limestone, displaying solemn, serene expression and a formal stance, hair with tight curls, wearing a thin, diaphanous robe. Hand gesture, or mudra, symbolizing fearlessness or a blessing that represents protection, benevolence and peace. Shandong provinces.
