Modern sterling silver cigar box. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Massachusetts, ca 1920. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover hinged with molded rim; on top, cast figural finial of hound snuffling around, nose to the ground. Interior gilt with detachable partitioned tray. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 88. Very good condition.

Overall dimensions: H 5 1/4 x W 8 3/8 x D 5 3/8 in. Heavy total weight: 41 troy ounces. #CB975
