Description
Extraneous ornament is eschewed in this red/light blue and cream NW Persian carpet in a bold Kazak manner. The tripartite ecru pole medallion is set on the abrashed rust-red open field. Abrashed, plain medium/light blue central diamond. Light blue corners with rosettes. Strip style ecru border with maximally simplified turtles. Light wear to field. Moderate weave. Exceptional natural dye palette in the "less is more" tradition.
