Description
Classically Heriz, with a shaped and pointed navy medallion centred by a rose concave diamond, on a natural madder red field displaying chunky vinery and imaginative flowers, and detached escutcheon pendants. Ivory corners with leaves and tilted aroids. Reversing turtle palmettes in the navy main border. Cotton foundation, moderate coarse weave, but solid and floor able. An attractive example from the early 20th century.
