Description
This coarsely knotted, thick pile west Anatolian large Kellegi (long rug or carpet) shows a light burnt salmon field with large and lesser diamonds attending a central column including hooked and ragged palmettes. Pale straw, rust and beige accents. Light rust border with crosses and octofoil rosettes. Minor end issues and some spot wear. Fairly good condition. Semi-geometric pattern intuition.
