Description
The flamed edged, lobed corners are particularly attractive in their shades of teal and sea green. A fine light blue-teal appears in the lotus palmettes within the volutes of the deeply scalloped central navy medallion. Warm madder red Herati field with yellow and grass green accents. Dark blue reversing turtle border. Very solidly woven, with an upright pile of extraordinarily resilient tribal wool. A classic Kurdish west Persian town scatter in good condition which will wear lifetimes.
