The scatter and room size pieces made in the Arak/Sultanabad area between 1880 and 1910 with firm and leathery well-woven textures and strong in red navy and ecru tones usually in medallion formats. A transition group between the earlier 19th century Farahans and the post-WWI Sarouks. Drawing is between curvilinear and angular.
