Description
Karaja village in the Heriz District is the source of this royal blue carpet with a three by seven array of characteristic octogrammes alternating with hooked hexagons in cream, medium blue, red, green and goldenrod. Tiny birds add to the charms of each medallion module. Wine red border with square floret arrays and rosettes, Keyhole reciprocal inner surround. Good condition. Moderate weave.
