Description
This is a vibrant Moroccan handmade rug featuring a rich and intricate design typical of traditional Berber craftsmanship. The rug has a rectangular shape and showcases a dominant color palette of reds, blues, dark greens, and whites. At the center, there is a large diamond-shaped motif. This diamond is outlined with a detailed pattern of white zigzags and smaller diamond shapes within, creating a focal point for the rug. On either side of the central diamond, there are two smaller, octagonal medallions. These medallions are primarily blue with intricate designs in white and red, adding to the symmetrical balance of the rug. The rug features striking chevron patterns in alternating colors, framing the central motifs. Made of locally sourced sheep wool and organic vegetables dyes, this rug is a fine example of Moroccan craftsmanship, blending traditional patterns with vibrant colors, making it both a functional item and a piece of art.
