Description
This modern rug combines class and versatility. Although presently made, it was executed in accordance with traditional techniques, by the hand of an apt Tibetan artisan, to ensure its quality and longevity. The finest wool and silk applied to its creation provide the pile that is durable yet still soft and slightly luminous, adding the design even greater dimension of elegance. Provided minimum care, this Tibetan rug will withstand years of usage without any signs of wear, being the apple of the eye of its owners and a perfect complement to a wide variety of interior arrangements. The face of the modern rug exhibits a geometric pattern with elements of abstraction. The field is divided into squares, some of which contain tribal-related motifs that may bring to mind Beni Ourains or animal prints. Everything is rendered in a warm palette of browns and beiges with touches of gray. Such a composition will seamlessly match any kind of décor, organizing the space and bringing in a bit of warmth. New, modern and custom rugs by Doris Leslie Blau combine the best features of the past and present weaving craft which shows in their indisputable quality. Our wide range of designs comprises of traditional-inspired, contemporary, abstract or utterly visionary, all aimed at introducing rugs into the future of decorating. Browse our wide online inventory or visit one of our galleries to touch the magic and beauty of top-notch antique rugs and contemporary carpets. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
