Comprising both the nomadic Berber rugs of the Atlas Mountains, with very thick piles, coarse knotting and limited palettes, and the more colorful, coarse to moderate rugs woven around Rabat, often with Anatolian patterns. Generic type also includes mixed technique rustic pieces. Long rugs, modern room sizers, also runners and scatters. Inexpensive to moderate price.
