    Turkish Mid-Century Modern Rug designed by Zeki Müren (1931-1996) who was a cultural icon - singer, composer, songwriter, actor and poet. He was also a versatile designer who created a series of rugs for his Bosphorus home in geometric and abstract compositions that were made commercially available. Each is hand woven with wool on cotton foundation, produced in the Sparta region of Western Turkey. This 6' 4" x 7' 10". Good vintage condition. Retailed by Nalbandian of California.
