-
Description
Exquisite mid-20th century vase or bowl by Barovier & Toso with Art Deco flair in rich blown whiskey gold Murano Art glass, hand decorated with the technique Rostrato: spikes of glass individually hand pulled in relief. Rostrato is a distinctive technique invented by Ercole Barovier as a way to enhance the glass luminosity while multiplying light reflections. The organic shape of this centrepiece is particularly interesting so that they can be used as a bowl and as a flower vase. Diameter opening 5 inches. Can be accompanied by a larger bowl, item 778PC1 as per photograph.
