Pair of Danish Modern sterling silver centerpiece bowls. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Oval with flared rim; at ends and sides are loose-mounted rings entwined with grape bunches. Base lobed and mounted to spread foot encircled with rinceaux-style fruiting grapevine. Visible hand hammering. Early pieces designed by the master in 1919. Fully marked including maker’s stamps (1925-32) and no. 296B. Very good condition.
