Description | Sterling hand-hammered bowl by Randahl, Chicago, circa 1930. The bowl of a scalloped shaped form with three sectional ‘paneled’ hand-hammered interior, polished base. Stamped on underside Randahl sterling R1811 hand-wrought. Measure: Diameter 10 inches, height 2 inches. Weight: 19.25 oz. Julius Olaf Randahl founded the Randahl Shop in Park Ridge, Illinois in 1911. The shop was later moved to Chicago. Julius Randahl worked for Gorham, Tiffany and Kalo before starting his own business. |
