This unique and colorful Mid-Century Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Glass Emerald Green & Millefiori Detailed Oblong Glass Bowl originates from Italy, Circa 1960. Features an elongated profile with grooved indentations which form rounded points and curled details along either side providing for a lovely profile and dynamic interaction of the gold fleck and multicolored millefiori detailing, featuring turquoise, vermillion red, jade, cobalt, and white glass spotted moment of color. The undersurface of the bowl is lined with a deep and sumptuous semi-translucent emerald green, beautifully framing the additional colors and providing generous opportunities for prolonged viewing and appreciation. This bowl is a lovely example of the highest quality Murano Art Glass, and will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors.
