Edwardian Regency sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1910. Ovoid body, stepped foot, short neck, and helmet mouth; soft bracket handle with trefoil shaped terminal. Reeding. Acid-etched ornament: Scroll and paterae borders and floral garland; on neck, rectangular frames (vacant).
Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 16974C, director’s letter m, and volume (4 1/4 pints). Also, 1974 English import marks for London Assay Office. Very good condition.
