This coaster set distills the Vienna Werkstätte legacy into something quietly domestic: small functional objects treated with the attention normally reserved for sculpture. Each round coaster is cut and polished from natural horn, its surface carrying smoky gradients and pale striations that make every piece distinct. A stitched black leather sleeve gathers the set into a single, portable form—part container, part display—emphasizing Auböck’s enduring interest in materials, tactility, and restrained wit. The result is both utilitarian and unmistakably authored: a tabletop ensemble where pattern, craft, and everyday ritual meet. Vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age; small edge nicks visible on some coasters. The measurements given apply to the leather cover.
