Description
Depth: 16" || Creator: WMF || An extremely rare WMF silver plated cutlery set for 24 persons in the original Art Nouveau cabinet with silver plated organic stylised mounts and the complete original Art Nouveau cutlery service down to it's crumb tray and it's brush. The last image is the original advert from the W MF catalogue, almost certainly the most extravagant Art Nouveau service produced by the company at that time. Consisting of 334 pieces : - 24 large knives and 24 large forks.
24 smaller knives and 24 smaller forks-24 large spoons and 24 smaller spoons-24 fish knives and 24 fish forks-Two large serving fish knives and two large serving fish forks-Two large serving fish spoons-Four palette knives-18 knife rests-24 teaspoons and two sugar sifting spoons-24 small fruit spoons-24 smaller spoons-18 asparagus tongs-Six salts with liners and six salt spoons-Two large soup ladles and two gravy ladles-Two carving knives and two carving forks-Two salad serving spoons with ivorene spoon ends-Two salad serving forks with ivorene fork ends.
