Fornasetti "Architectura" Pillow
-
Description
This is a newly created pillow in the “Architectura” pattern; the fabric is dated 1961. This "Architectura" pattern was designed by Pierro Fornasetti (1913 -1988) and the fabric was printed during his lifetime, making it considerably more desirable than later yardage. This Fornasetti is in excellent condition having been stored for over 50 years and purchased from the family of the original owner. The pillow is backed in a high-end strie silk and further detailed with a micro welt. The custom insert is composed of 30% goose down to 70% goose feather to provide structure to the pillow and protection to the fabric.
MJH Design Arts has over 15 years of experience creating custom pillows from antique and pre-1980's Fortuny fabrics and other fine antique and vintage textiles. We will be adding pillows created from vintage and antique Fortuny fabrics (dating to the lifetime of Mariano Fortuny) in the near future.
**One "Architectura" pillow is available. -
