This gorgeous and richly narrative Art Deco Mixed Media Mythological Figural Drawing in Graphite and Conte signed "L.V." originates from Italy, Circa 1935. Featuring a vibrant composition of figures rendered loosely and with excellent skill and use of materials. Outlined figures with gestural drapery and ink washed outlines embrace and interact, spiraling upwards from the lower right-hand corner of the composition and moving backwards in space with more lightly drawn linework. This piece is a beautiful example of the timeless subjects depicted in fresh visual language unique to the era. This Drawing will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Fitted in a giltwood custom gallery frame with a linen floater and signed L.V. in the lower right hand corner. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
