Materials Pressed botanical specimens (ferns) laid on 19th century paper with hand written labels. Contemporary water gilt and painted frames all mounts and backing materials are acid free

Condition Good. The ferns are in good condition the background paper is slightly discoloured due to it's age

Description A SET OF TWELVE FRAMED 19TH CENTURY PRESSED FERNS
Collected in New Zealand by Eric Craig, a dealer in tribal artefacts, curios and natural history specimens.
Each with letterpress label listing the linnean binomem.
Framed in handmade gessoed and painted frames with water gilding.
