Beautiful antique oil painting on canvas 1780s. A splendid portrait of noble spouses. Excellent pictorial quality great attention to detail. On the frame there are the names of the families of origin with the relative heraldic coats of arms. Of particular importance is the young noblewoman belonging to an ancient and important Italian noble family, the Anguissola. This noble family had important business in the northern Italian city of Piacenza and there were many important characters in history. The beautiful oval frame in gilded wood is antique. The wonderful pair of painting has been restored.
