Antique Italian painting from the 17th century. Oil on canvas artwork, first canvas, depicting a biblical subject, King David admonished by the prophet Nathan, of good pictorial quality. Painting that develops horizontally, in the center we find King David with the prophet to his right. The painting continues to the right where we can see some warriors in armor from an arch. Painting of strong impact, very well represented also in the numerous details of the scene. Painting of beautiful size and proportion mounted on an antique frame (see photo). Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration and color recovery in several places (see photo). In patina, it presents various signs of aging and small color drops, artwork overall in a fair state of conservation. To be restored for perfect enjoyment.
