"Golfers" Painting by Cuban-American Artist Geiler Gonzalez
Offered for sale in an acrylic on canvas painting titled "Golfers" by Cuban-American artist Geiler Gonzalez signed and dated '23 in the lower right corner. The painting depicts a golfer and his caddy on the course dressed in 1920s fashion with a bi-plane flying in the distance. The artist paints in a style reminiscent of the WPA and illustration art of the mid-20th century. The artist was born in Cuba in 1987 and now makes Miami his home. In his native Cuba he participated in many group shows and one-man shows where he was awarded numerous national awards.
The painting will be sold unframed but will be wired and ready to hang. -
