This watercolor portrait was made by Howard Chandler Christy (1873-1952, American)and dedicated to his long time friend Anita Shonover in 1940. The portrait is signed dated and inscribed " With best good wishes". The portrait came directly from the family of Anita Shonover along with multiple letters and cards written by Howard to Anita.

The original letters and cards are included per request.

Period: 1940's

Condition: Good- Wear is consistent with age and use.
