Description
Four individual fusuma (sliding doors), which can be hung together or separately. Signature and seal on far left read: Kaizan. Calligraphy is abstract prose about the nature and changing seasons. Partial translation, "Heaven, one sees oneself.... Snow, Spring rhyme..... A couple works hard.... Window, fortune, and wind." Seal on the far right reads: Sekibi. Ink with minimal color on silk with wooden frames and patinated bronze door pulls in place. Each panel measures: 69 1/2" h x 41" w. Overall dimensions: 69 1/2" h x 164" w.
