Late Edo (c. 1850) Rimpa style painting of a landscape showing the transition of autumn on the right turning into winter on the left. The right panels show autumn garden flowers behind a small bamboo fence and a grassy knoll. The left panels show a willow tree serving as a perch for small birds and herons above a wandering stream. Mineral pigments on gold with gold leaf clouds and a silk brocade border. Signature reads: Oho.
