This signed pair of 1886 oil paintings by Spanish artist Juan Montenegro captures scenes from the Alcázar of Seville, one of Spain’s most iconic Moorish palaces. Each work is set in a matching gilt frame, with labels indicating the location depicted.

One painting shows the ‘Patio de las Doncellas’, where boys in traditional Moorish dress gather on a rug, while the other portrays the Patio de las Muñecas, with its central fountain and lush greenery.
