Description
Léa Lafugie is a painter who has travelled extensively throughout Asia. She is renowned for her portraits. She studied at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, then at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
Endowed with an adventurous and curious nature in 1925 she decided to travel to Asia, including China, India, Tibet, Japan and the Indochinese peninsula. She painted landscapes and portraits during her stays.
Signed at top right with an inscription «Burma» .
Lafugie stamp at bottom right.
Dating between 1925 – 1930.
