Philip & Kelvin LaVerne Unique Pair of Paintings "Redemption" 1960s (Signed)
-
Description
Pair of unique Impressionist paintings on bronze and pewter "Redemption" with colorful enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960s (signed twice on one and once on the other “Kelvin Philip LaVerne”). One painting shows a person on the ground being judged and scorned by others; the second shows a second person on the ground with the scorned person showing them affection and love. It’s about the outcast - and his road to redemption through the kindness of others. These are unique works of art - both incredibly complex and beautifully made.
